Viral Videos are viral because people want to watch it. I specifically went to You Tube to find out why Old Spice has been a trending topic on Twitter. I found this Video and thought it was amusing, entertaining, great video effects and super short. The Title is short “Old Spice Body Wash”. The call to action on the YouTube video page is to Share the video, join the Old Spice Facebook Fanpage and to follow Old Spice on Twitter.
If you want a video to go viral.
1) The video should be short or by someone very famous.
2) The video should be entertaining or funny.
3) The video should be on YouTube.
4) The video should have a keyword in the title
5) The video should be publicized a bit to get it started. Twitter, Facebook, Blogs, Press Release or if it is a highly searched keyword, it may just go viral by itself.

I had heard about this video while it was stirring a BUZZ – but I never made an effort to see it – maybe because I figured it would eventually get to me…
There are two issues that most people will face with the first recommendation, the creative ability or the technical know how to put a “short” video together and the fact that most people don’t have a “famous” person in their NETWORK.
With that being said – they are KEY to getting the attention most MARKETING professionals desire – along with the submission tools that are out there.
Getting a video to go viral is the DREAM of every person marketing a product/service/opportunity. Looking forward to challenge of putting my editing skills to use and creating enough interest to get some eyeballs.
Even half of the view the Old Spice video got would be nice.

Viral videos need to have something that will make people talk. They have to have something that will stand out, usually within the video, or possibly even the product they are selling. It needs to created a lot of buzz for the video to be seen by numerous amounts of people.

Submitting and publicising a video is the easy bit. It’s having the creative skills to produce a great video that will make it go viral that is difficult. People will only link and share a good video.

Yes, Videos are a good medium of promoting the product and attracting the customers. Now a days videos are very popular method of promotion this video is really cool.

I have been trying to get into the viral video, its tough…………..many millions in tv advertising probably helped this one.
I remember seeing an Ellen episode with this guy. He is a very nice guy. Did you know that he used to do impersonations during his time as a wide receiver when he played football? I love his commercials!

That was one of the coolest ad I’ve ever seen.I enjoyed watching it,great concept really amazes me.
The right audience – that’s what people need to target for their videos to go viral. We all can come up with creative stuff that’s unique and has its own merit, but it’s quite hard to target a particular audience and effectively utilize all social media tools for the same purpose.
Dang, I wish I knew how to do it. Would be awesome.
Nice and funny video. I think short but sweet does it in terms of video adverts. You should also know the type of people who are interested in your product and try to catch their attention.
