Google Wonder Wheel
It’s a good idea to use Search Keywords Optimization in the title of your Blog posts to make it easier for people to find your post when searching online. I like to go to the free keywordtracker to get ideas for search volume on keywords and to get ideas for blog post titles.
Then I usually go to the Google wonder wheel and get additional ideas. To find the wonder wheel go to Google, search for a topic and then in the top left corner just above the top search result, click on show options. Under standard view is the wonder wheel and related searches. These are both good places to see what terms people are searching for.
Next I use Market Samurai to determine the trends for the keywords, the CPI or commercial intent of the keyword and to get a better idea of the search volumes, the SEO (Search Engine Optimization) and CPC (Cost per Click) competition for the keywords I am thinking of using. Market Samurai is a great tool because it does not have a monthly charge and it is always being upgraded with new features each month. The CPI tells you if the search term is a term that people search for when they want to buy something or if they are just doing research.
Once you have decided on a great blog post title, be sure to include the keywords in your first sentence of the post.
Generally if you talk about a specific topic on your site, you can establish a reputation for having great content on a particular topic and gradually build up the site reputation for your readers and for the search engines.
For this post I used two keywords “Search Keywords” with a search volume of 366 searches a day and “Keywords Optimization” with a search volume of 51 searches a day.

The funny thing is about Wonder wheel I can get distracted quickly I sometimes find myself finding keywords after keyword that I can market. But that’s a good thing too

I always go with the “use something interesting” title. If this includes your keywords then great but do not just use keywords for the sake of SEO. Google is very smart and often using normal names or just a website address from both follow and non follow links.
I never heard about “Market Samurai” keyword analysis Tool. I am going to download the trial version and check it up. Thanks for sharing this.
I’ve heard good things about Market Samurai. I’m wondering whether it’s really an essential or just a pretty useful tool. I also understand that it can be purchased cheaper than its list price in some way or another?

Thanks for sharing Google Wonder Wheel, it really is simple but is very practical.
There are many keyword tools available in the market and sometimes it creates confusion to which is the best thing to use. I think Market Samurai brings something better in helping us marketers boost our sites through proper keyword usage and analysis.
I agree Chris. I still use Google sometimes, yet I find Market Samurai provides the information to make a better decision on keywords than just search volume and trends.

Good write-up. It’s indeed still very important to do the basic SEO-optimization like keywords in the headlines etc. Google is still king.
Yeah you are right – in the end a well written and optimized title tag can be a huge difference maker when it comes to ranking ahead of a competitor online. You can’t do that unless you have done your research, and figured out what people are searching for more!
